We’ll wait. The video starts with “On March 10, 2014, Honey Maid launched ‘This Is Wholesome,’ a commercial that celebrates all families. Some people didn’t agree with our message.” Then it shows a sample of negative comments the company received, such as “Horrible,” “NOT ‘WHOLESOME’ ” and “Disgusting!!” The video 【植髮流程】植髮痛嗎？植髮麻醉過程是怎樣的？ - message continues: “So we asked two artists to take the negative comments and turn them into something else.” You then see the artists Linsey Burritt and Crystal Grover taking a printout of each hateful comment, rolling it into a tube, and then putting the tubes together in a sculpture-like assemblage that spells out the word “Love.” As the artists leave the scene, you see the following message: “But the best part was all the positive messages we received. Over ten times as many.” Then suddenly the rest of the room (the space around the “Love” sculpture) fills up with tubes that hold positive messages the company received, such as “family is family,” “makes my heart happy,” and “most beautiful thing.” And the final message: “Proving that only one thing really matters when it comes to family …,” and the camera zooms out to show the roomful of paper tubes at the center of which is the word “Love.” The halo effect of the original campaign, plus follow-up campaigns and stories about modern families, has been powerful. As Gary Osifchin said, “It’s catapulted the brand to the emotional level. Historically, the brand’s always been used in recipes, but we’ve gone from that to a brand that people want and choose to use because of the message we’re putting into the world.” The message the company truly believes. The message it stands behind.
